1. What data do we collect?

When placing a reservation, we collect the following personal data:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Address details (street, postal code, city)
  • Delivery address (if applicable)

2. Why do we collect this data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing and managing your reservation
  • Communication about your booking (confirmations, reminders)
  • Delivery of the rented device
  • Refund of the deposit
  • Legal obligations (accounting, VAT)

3. Legal basis

The processing of your data is based on the performance of a contract (the rental agreement) and our legal obligations.

4. Retention period

Your data is retained for the duration of the rental agreement and up to 7 years thereafter for accounting purposes, in accordance with Belgian legislation.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your data with third parties, except when necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. a courier for delivery) or when we are legally required to do so.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Have your data corrected or deleted
  • Restrict or object to the processing
  • Transfer your data (data portability)

You can exercise these rights by contacting us via mail@rokr.services.

7. Cookies

This website only uses functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website (session, CSRF protection). We do not use tracking cookies or analytical cookies.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Authority (GBA): www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

10. Business contacts and potential partners

To invite businesses to join our partner programme, we also process data of businesses that are not (yet) customers.

  • Which data: the company name, the business email address, possibly the name of a contact person, where we found that address, and whether our emails were delivered, opened and whether the link in them was followed.
  • Whom we contact: only generic company addresses (such as info@) or people who have expressly given us permission.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting our services to businesses, or your consent.
  • How many emails: at most one proposal and one reminder.
  • Unsubscribing: the link at the bottom of every email unsubscribes you permanently. We then keep only your email address, so that you are never contacted again.
  • Retention: we keep an overview of the companies we have contacted, so that no one is contacted twice or again. You can always ask us to erase your data.
  • Processor: the emails are sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which acts solely on our behalf.

11. Contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, we process the following data:

  • Which data: your name, your email address and your message, as well as your IP address, your browser and the time it was sent.
  • Why: to answer your question, and to stop advertising and abuse of the form.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your question and protecting our website.
  • Retention period: as long as needed to handle your question. You can always ask us to delete your message.

To stop robots, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.). Your IP address and technical data about your browser are passed on to Cloudflare, solely to check that a human is filling in the form. Turnstile does not set cookies to track you.
